Varnish

Varnishing has been the most time consuming thing of this project. It doesn't take a long time to brush it on but it sure takes a lot of time to dry when you don't have a good warm shop to work in. I'm using my one car garage and only have a small heater. I was able to put on 2 coats a day if I got up early and put one one before going to work and then sand in the evening and put another one on before bed. 6 good coats are on the sides and top. I will probably put a another one on when done with all the cutting and all if I get any scratches witch I think will happen. Jug saws seem to always leave a few scratches when using them. Take your time when putting the varnish down. makes it easier for the next coat and sanding. I used a 2 inch tight foam brush and that worked the best for me. I also used a good brush.
