Found my Rocky

This Rocky I purchased in Guam in 1992. I saw it by Liberty WA. Today I stopped by and checked and it was the Rocky I had Purchased. It has the receiver hitch that I welded on to it so I could tow our boat in Guam. Brought back lots of great memories.. Great little vehicle!

Apple grinder fix

Had a problem with the apple grinder. The wood keeps cracking when the wood gets wet then drys out each year. I have now modified it and places a 6″ PVC pipe over it. After welling on some new brackets onto the spindle to hold the wood I lathed it down right on the spindle. I used a small piece of the pipe to get the right size all the way across.

Wall Mount Rack.

I had to move some servers out of some leased space and mount them on the wall. We ended up using rack shelves as wall mount brackets. Worked out great!

Visio Stand

This is a stand that I made for a Vizio tablet. Used in Rehab. I wish I could have made it out of some kind of plastic but didn’t have any. This will keep the user from dropping it when using the scanner . I also mounted it on a roll around stand enabling them to move it from room to room.

Here is a photo of the finished Desk. Its 24 feet long and 4 feet wide at the widest point. Below are photos of the process of building.

24 Foot Desk

First  I bult a fram so that I could know exactly the way I wanted to cut the top. With the roof angle and all we needed to be able to sit and get up without hitting our heads and also wanted to be able to put some computer monitors up without hitting the ceiling.

Doors

There is a 16 inch wide shelf the full 24 feet. This will make great storage. I put doors all the way down. Had to leave a cut to for floor vents.

The only thing left to do is to run a wire back to the network Closet. I will have a network switch placed under one of the Workstations to handle all the networking for this room. Would have home run all the wires but its really hard to get wires to this room.
