Rebuilding of the Grinder. I glued 5/8 in oak together to build this box. The shaved it as round as I could. I then placed it on the spindle and lathed it down with the motor we use for girding. Below you will see the results.



Placed stainless crews 1/2 apart in the oak barrel. Adjusted them down once the grinding box was made.
Well after about 8 years of pressing cider each year our grinder was well used and abused.
As you can see in these photos our apple grinder was well used.
We pressed over 500 gallons years. Usually 200 t0 300 gallons.

This is the old grinding box. Worked well.
